Center for Medical Education

The Center for Medical Education (ZML) supports both medical students and teaching staff with a wide range of offerings in teaching, research, and professional development. Here you will find an inspiring environment to further develop your medical competencies—from hands-on skills training to individualized academic advising.

Medical library

The Medical Library offers 75 modern study spaces that are exclusively available to our medical students. Here you will find an inspiring atmosphere that promotes your academic performance and allows you to work in a quiet and concentrated manner.

Library use made easy

You can obtain a locker key from the security desk by depositing your student ID. Your personal locker corresponds to the number of your workstation so that you can find your area quickly and easily. Before entering the library, you can securely store your personal belongings - such as bags, jackets and food.

Best learning environment

Bring everything you need for a productive day, including a bottle of water. Our aim is to provide you with a pleasant and conducive learning atmosphere so that you can concentrate fully on your studies.

Please note

When you leave the library, don't forget to empty your locker and exchange the key for your student ID card.

Workshop of the Faculty of Medicine

The workshop of the Faculty of Medicine (Werkstatt Medizin) supports your projects with comprehensive technical services. Our services range from the planning, design and production of mechanical components to the creation of prototypes. We work with various materials and use manual and CNC-controlled machines to ensure precise and high-quality results.

In addition, we offer repair and maintenance services for scientific equipment and centrifuges (excluding ultracentrifuges). Our experienced team ensures that your equipment is always in perfect condition and works reliably.
