Wahlen zum Fakultätsrat und Senat 2023

Der Wahlzeitraum erstreckt sich über zwei Tage, d.h. das Wahlportal wird über zwei Tage geöffnet sein. Der Wahltermin ist vom
- 13.06.2023 ab 9.30 Uhr (Öffnung des Wahlportals)
- bis 14.06.2023 24.00 Uhr (Schließung des Wahlportals).
Nur innerhalb dieser Frist können Sie Ihre Stimme abgeben.
Für die Stimmabgabe benötigen Sie eine gültige RUB-LoginID samt Passwort. Weitere Informationen zur RUB-LoginID finden Sie hier: RUB-LoginID (ruhr-uni-bochum.de)
Wir empfehlen Ihnen, sich eine Zweifaktor-Authentifizierung für Ihre RUB-LoginID einzurichten; erforderlich ist dies für eine Stimmabgabe jedoch nicht. Weitere Informationen zur Zweifaktor-Authentifizierung finden Sie hier: Authentifizierung mit der RUB-LoginID (ruhr-uni-bochum.de)
Die Stimmabgabe erfolgt ausschließlich elektronisch. Spätestens mit Beginn des Wahlzeitraums erhalten Sie an Ihre RUB-Emailadresse den Link zum Wahlportal. Die Wahlbenachrichtigung, der Stimmzettel und die Eidesstattliche Versicherung (Wahlschein) werden Ihnen über das Wahlportal zur Verfügung gestellt. Den Link zum Wahlportal können Sie im Wahlzeitraum auch über die Gremienwahlseite

aufrufen. Jede*r Wahlberechtigte hat zudem die Möglichkeit, online ihre/seine Stimme während des Wahlzeitraums in der Zeit von 9.30 bis 15.00 Uhr im Wahlbüro (UV 3/340) abzugeben.
Sie sind wahlberechtigt, wenn Sie im Verzeichnis der Wahlberechtigten geführt werden.
Um sicherzustellen, dass alle Wahlberechtigten im Verzeichnis der Wahlberechtigten aufgeführt sind, bitten wir Sie, Ihre Wahlberechtigung (Status, Einrichtung, Gremium) vorab online zu prüfen und dem Wahlbüro ggfs. erforderliche Änderungen mitzuteilen. Ihre Wahlberechtigung können Sie unter folgendem Link prüfen:

Die Prüfung der Wahlberechtigung sowie die Meldung von Änderungsbedarfen ist im Zeitraum vom 25.04.2023 bis 09.05.2023 möglich. Nach Ablauf dieser Frist kann das Verzeichnis der Wahlberechtigten nicht mehr geändert werden. Bitte prüfen Sie also bis spätestens zum 09.05.2023, wie und mit welcher Zuordnung Sie im Verzeichnis der Wahlberechtigten geführt werden.
Die Wahlvorschläge für die Wahlen zum Senat und den Fakultätsräten werden online über ein elektronisches Formular eingereicht. Dieses Formular finden Sie ebenfalls auf der Gremienwahlseite. Die Frist zur Einreichung der Wahlvorschläge endet ebenfalls am 09.05.2023. Wahlvorschläge, die nach dem 09.05.2023 eingereicht werden, können nicht berücksichtigt werden.

Starting in 2023, the elections for the Senate and the Faculty Councils at RUB will be held online. The first online election period for the Senate and Faculty Councils has started, and this email is to inform you about the online election process so that you can cast your vote. The election period is two days, which means that the election portal will be open for two days. The election dates are from
- 13.06.2023, 9.30 a.m. (election portal opens)
- to 14.06.2023 midnight (election portal closes).
This is the deadline for you to cast your vote. In order to vote, you need a valid RUB-LoginID including password. For more information on the RUB-LoginID, please go here: RUB-LoginID (ruhr-uni-bochum.de)
We recommend that you set up two-factor authentication for your RUB-LoginID; this is not required for voting, however. Read more about two-factor authentication here: authentication with the RUB-LoginID (ruhr-uni-bochum.de)
You can vote only online. The link to the election portal will be sent to your RUB email address at the start of the election period at the latest. You’ll be able to access your election notification, voting form and affidavit (ballot paper) via the election portal. The link to the election portal will also be available at the committee election page

Every eligible voter can also cast their vote online at the election office (UV 3/340) during the election period from 9.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You are eligible to vote if you are listed in the register of eligible voters. In order to ensure that all eligible voters are listed in the relevant register, please check your eligibility to vote (status, institution) online in advance and notify the election office of any necessary changes. You can check your eligibility to vote at the following link:

You can check your eligibility to vote and notify us of any necessary changes between 25.04.2023 and 09.05.2023. After this deadline, the list of eligible voters can no longer be changed. Therefore, please make sure to check by 09.05.2023 how and with which allocation you are listed in the register of eligible voters.
Nominations for the elections to the Senate and the Faculty Councils must be submitted via an online form. This form is also available on the committee election page. The deadline for submitting nominations is also 09.05.2023. Nominations submitted after 09.05.2023 will not be considered.
